Significant Performance Failure

A significant performance failure occurs where Aberdeenshire Council puts the interests of many or all of its tenants at risk. This could be a result of something the council does, or something the council has failed to do, and it will normally relate to a failure to meet our legal requirements or tenant commitments.

You can find more information about complaints and significant performance failures in this leaflet from the Scottish Housing Regulator: Significant Performance Failure Leaflet (pdf 309kb)

How to make a complaint

If you want to make a complaint or report a significant performance failure, you should contact the council first, using our customer feedback form.

If you are unhappy with our response to your complaint about a significant performance failure, you can report it to the Scottish Housing Regulator using the form attached to the leaflet above.
