Aberdeenshire Council co-leaders appointed

Cllr Stewart Adams and Cllr Anne Stirling have today (Thurs, June 26) been appointed as new co-leaders of Aberdeenshire Council.

It follows the resignation of Cllr Gillian Owen from the leader’s role.

 Cllr Gwyneth Petrie was also proposed for leader but was unsuccessful after a 36-28 vote.
