Let's Talk - Ellon!

Residents and community groups in Ellon are being invited to take part in a new pilot event designed to spark conversation, collaboration and positive change within the town.
‘Let’s Talk – Ellon’ will offer a relaxed, drop-in opportunity at the Farmer’s Market in Neil Ross Square this Saturday (August 22) for people to meet with our council leaders, chief executive and local councillors so they can talk about the strengths, challenges and opportunities in the town. 
You can drop in at any time from 9am to 1pm and help us gather first-hand feedback on the issues, aspirations and opportunities that matter most to you.
Main themes will include: 

• What residents and community groups feel Ellon needs in the future
• A chance to raise ideas for ways the community can work better together in the interests of the town
• The challenges the people of Ellon and surrounding areas face, as well as understanding the challenges facing the council
• A chance to discuss what is in the local place plan and how it can inform a wider Place Plan

Through these community discussions we want to build stronger relationships in our towns, gain a better understanding of local priorities, create opportunities for action and help inform the emerging Ellon Place Plan.
It will also help us identify practical projects, partnerships and community-led activity which can be progressed following the drop-in event.
