Hugely-successful Aberdeenshire Restaurant Weeks set to return in November

Aberdeenshire Restaurant Weeks will run from November 2-15 this year following another highly successful event in 2025 which saw it deliver strong economic, promotional and community benefits across the region.

Last year’s event brought together 77 cafes and restaurants from across Aberdeenshire for a two-week celebration of local food, drink and hospitality.

Building on the momentum of its 2024 debut, the Aberdeenshire Council campaign once again proved its value in boosting footfall, encouraging people to dine locally and shining a spotlight on the region’s diverse hospitality sector during a traditionally quieter trading period.

Participation has continued to grow, with more than a third of venues taking part for the first time and many businesses reporting increased footfall and strong weekend trade.

During the event, customers will again be able to enjoy a host of food and drinks offers which will help increase footfall by showcasing the incredible offering across Aberdeenshire to locals and visitors alike, highlighting value, quality, provenance and choice at a traditionally quieter time of year.

Cllr Alan Turner, chair of the council’s Infrastructure Services Committee, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Aberdeenshire Restaurant Weeks back for a third year following the tremendous success of the previous two events. Each year has seen more restaurants, cafes and hotels getting involved, helping to showcase the incredible quality and diversity of food and drink experiences available across Aberdeenshire.

"Last year’s event once again demonstrated just how strong the appetite is for discovering local dining experiences, with residents and visitors alike keen to explore new venues and support local businesses. With Restaurant Weeks once again returning for two weeks this November, we want to build on that momentum and make this year’s event bigger and better than ever.
