Energy development proposals

You can view energy development proposals that have been submitted since August 2003 on a map.

The map displays planning applications and consultations received from the Scottish Government Energy Consents Unit, relating to energy and transmission development.  

The map shows:

• Proposals for:
  • Battery storage
  • Overhead lines 132kv and over
  • Solar arrays
  • SSE Substations
  • Substations and cables for offshore windfarms
  • Wind turbines (you can also view wind turbines data on the Spatial Hub)
  • Other large-scale energy infrastructure
• EIA screening and scoping opinions
