Local Development Plan - development bids 2018

As part of the preparation of the Local Development Plan (LDP) 2021, we invited applicants to nominate land for development (known as the 'Call for Sites' stage). This stage ran from 3rd January until 31st March 2018.  During this period, any interested parties could submit a 'bid' to have land allocated for housing, business or mixed use development. We received in excess of 500 bids from landowners, developers and agents.

At this time the bids published are only for information. All comments will be welcomed as part of the full public consultation that is now underway, follow the publication of the Main Issues Report.

'Call for Sites' is the first formal stage in developing the new LDP. The next step is to assess all submitted bids. The assessment then forms the basis of the Main Issues Report. You can stay up to date by viewing our regular updates on the Local Development Plan progress.

We update this page regularly to list all submitted bids per area. You can also view them on a map.
