School catchments

Every household in Aberdeenshire belongs to a school catchment area. Any children who live within that area are automatically entitled to a space in the school.

Each secondary school covers a group of primary school catchment areas. This means primary pupils from these areas usually move on to that secondary school.

These groups are usually called clusters or Children's Services Network, and you can find them by viewing school details.
