Q - How can I get a list of childminders in my area?

Q - I am struggling with my child and want someone to talk to, where can I get information on the support available?

A - Visit the Grampian CareData website for details of local and national groups and help lines. 

Q - I would like to become a registered childminder, but how do I get started?

A - Give us a call on 0800 298 3330 or email afis@aberdeenshire.gov.uk and we will send out a pre-registration pack, which contains a step by step guide on how to get up and running. 

Q - I am not sure what type of childcare I need for my child, where can I get information on the different types available?

A - You can download our parent guide, which contains details on all types of childcare provision and can help you decide what would best fit your needs. If you would prefer a copy to be posted to you, give us a call on 0800 298 3330

Q - I am struggling to pay for childcare, where can I get information on financial support?

A - For information on the types of financial support and assistance that are available and to check whether you are entitled to claim, visit the Scottish Family Information Service website

Q - Where can I get details of my local parent and toddler group?

Q - I am a childminder on your list and my details have now changed, how do I get them updated?

A - Give us a call on 0800 298 3330 or email afis@aberdeenshire.gov.uk and we will update them for you. 

Q - How can I get a copy of the latest Newsletter?

A - Give us a call on 0800 298 3330 or email afis@aberdeenshire.gov.uk and we can post or email you a copy of the latest newsletter.
