Supporting and protecting adults from harm policy
The Grampian interagency policy and procedures for support and protection of adults at risk was initially devised and launched in August 2006. The policy and procedures have been reviewed and revised by the Grampian Adult Support and Protection Working Group to take into account the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007 and local experiences. The current policy was reviewed in September 2011 and launched in February 2012.
It is for use by all statutory and independent sector organisations in Grampian.
