Get help in a mental health crisis

Help is available if you are feeling distressed or experiencing thoughts of suicide.

Call 999 for urgent medical help if you have, or feel like you might, attempt suicide or harm yourself.

If you can keep yourself safe for a short while, but you still need urgent advice, call 111 NHS24.

Penumbra Aberdeenshire 1st Response is a mental health crisis helpline, for people aged 16 to 65, who may be overwhelmed or in a mental health crisis. Call 0800 135 7950 Saturdays and Sundays, 5pm to 9pm.

Our out of hours emergency service can provide support at night, at weekends, or on bank holidays. Call 0345 608 1206 to speak to a specialist Mental Health Social Worker.
