Services for people affected by domestic abuse
Our social work service provides a number of services for people who are affected by domestic abuse. We work in partnership with other agencies, health services, police and the voluntary sector to provide a broad range of mainstream and specialised services. Mainstream services are services which are provided to people with a range of different needs.
Help is also available from other organisations and agencies. They can advise you about the options available to you and give you help and support.
If you need help, contact your local social work office. They will arrange a suitable time for you to visit to discuss what help you need. If you prefer, you can be visited at your home, or another agreed place if that is safer for you.
Outwith office hours, if it's an emergency, you can call our out of hours emergency service on 03456 08 12 06.
Your enquiry will be treated absolutely confidentially. Options and services can be discussed with you and you can choose what support you want to take.
