Part time Inverurie Service Point to close
Customers are being advised that Aberdeenshire Council’s part time Inverurie Service Point is to close at 5pm this coming Thursday (Apr 2).
The Service Point relocated to Inverurie Library in May last year after the closure of Gordon House. The closure decision reflects the shift towards digital and telephone services, changing customer needs, and a reduction in the number of people visiting in person.
Services will continue to be available online and via webchat, by telephone, and by appointment where required.
Customer Service Advisors are currently explaining changes to customers and providing advice as to how services can be accessed.
Those wishing to make payments can continue to do so online, by telephone, and locally at Post Offices and at PayPoints. Should customers be unable to resolve their queries online or by telephone, they will still be able to make appointments to meet officers within relevant services.
Details of a wide range of services that can be accessed online can be found at: www.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/online-services/
Telephone numbers for services are available at: www.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/contact-us/contact-customer-services
Signposting and support for customers to access services online or by telephone will also be available from Live Life Aberdeenshire community and leisure centres and other council venues but please note payments cannot be made at these venues.
Aberdeenshire Council’s Service Points in Fraserburgh and Peterhead remain open.
