Music tuition

Our Instrumental Music Service offers pupils instrument tuition during the school day on:

  • Woodwind
  • Brass
  • Violin or viola
  • Cello or double bass
  • Percussion
  • Piano or keyboard
  • Guitar
  • Bagpipes
  • Pipe band drum

Senior pupils (S4 to S6) can receive tuition on an instrument for a Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) course. SQA courses include Higher Music, Advanced Higher Music, National 4 Music, National 5 Music and free standing music units such as 'Performing Music on One Instrument or Voice' (F3F4).

If we don't have a place to offer you, we will add you to our waiting list. We will contact you if an opportunity to learn an instrument becomes available.
