ALOAF
Members of the Aberdeenshire Local Outdoor Access Forum
Aberdeenshire Local Access Forum (ALOAF) brings together key stakeholders with an interest in outdoor access. By working as a cohesive group, ALOAF aims to make sure there is a balanced representation from four key sectors: public agencies, land managers, community interests and access users. This allows ALOAF to address access related matters fairly and effectively, considering the perspectives of all involved parties.
Membership structure
There are two types of ALOAF members:
- Representatives - responsible for managing and making decisions for ALOAF
- Reserves - step in when the representatives are not able to participate
Members are expected to represent their whole sector rather than acting for a specific organisation, unless their appointment is explicitly tied to an organisation.
