Banchory Town A2B Service

Banchory Town A2B dial-a-bus service is operated by the council.

Who qualifies for the service

You need to be a member of A2B to use our dial-a-bus services.  You can become an A2B member if you need door-to-door transport or if you find it difficult to use other bus services.  This may be because:

  • the public bus steps are too high
  • you need extra time getting on and off the bus
  • there are no buses in your area or it is too far for you to walk to/from the bus route
  • there are no buses running at the time you need to travel

If you have a temporary disability you can join A2B on a short-term basis.

Contact us to become a member or for further details.

Area covered and operating times

The service operates door-to-door within Banchory on Monday to Friday between 9am and 3pm.

You can ask to travel at any time between these hours. We will try to pick you up at the time you request, but we take bookings on a first come first served basis, so you may be offered a trip at a different time to fit in with other passenger bookings.

The service is currently free for all users.
