Peterhead A2B

Peterhead A2B dial-a-bus service is operated by Aberdeenshire council.

Who qualifies for the service

Those who cannot access public transport due to disability or infirmity, or who have limited access to conventional public transport. 

Area covered and operating times

The service operates door-to-door to Peterhead from the outlying towns and rural areas between the hours of 9.45am and 1.45pm as indicated on the map below on:

  • Monday - St Fergus, Rora and Inverugie
  • Tuesday - Mintlaw, Longside and Clola
  • Wednesday and Thursday - Peterhead Town* and Boddam
  • Friday - Hatton, Cruden Bay and Longhaven

*Town service trips may also be available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays depending on availability.

You can ask to travel at any time between these hours. We will try to pick you up at the time that you request, but we take bookings on a first come first served basis, so you may be offered a trip at a different time to fit in with other passenger bookings.

How to book

All journeys must be pre-booked.

To make a booking, call the A2B dial-a-bus hotline and select option 1 between 9.30am and 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.

To cancel a journey, call the A2B dial-a-bus hotline and select option 2 to leave a message, available 24 hours a day.
