Disruptions to bin collections

Occasionally, bin collections are missed for a variety of reasons including weather conditions, road closures, or vehicles being in for maintenance and repair.

Some bins are collected on different days due to the festive period. Find out about missed bins and collections during festive period.

What to do if we missed your bin

If your bin was missed please leave it out in the first instance. 

If the missed collection is not listed on this page, before reporting it as missed please make sure that: 

• You presented your bin by 7am
• The bin was not collected by 4.45pm
• The bin was not tagged

If you find yourself accumulating additional household recycling and waste, please remember you can take it to a recycling centre. 

Recently missed bins

Where we don't otherwise indicate on this page, if we didn't collect your bin within five days, we will collect excess on the next collection day for that same bin, unless it was originally tagged or not presented.
