Content updates
How content providers can request updates
The UX team accepts requests for website changes from specific people only. This guidance applies to content providers.
Find out more about who can request content changes.
Before making a request
Requested changes should comply with the content and accessibility guidelines. This helps prevent delays in publishing.
How to make a request
To request updates, content providers need to log a ticket with the UX team. There are two ways of doing so.
If you have multiple updates, for example changes to various pages, please log them as one ticket. This helps us action everything more efficiently.
By email with correct subject line
From 27th August 2026 you won't be able to log content requests by email as we are moving our tickets to a new system.
The only way to request website content changes will be through the IT Hub.
Email your request to webcontent (the UX team), make sure the subject line starts with the word content. This will automatically log a ticket in your name.
You can use this link: webcontent@aberdeenshire.gov.uk, which already has the word content at the start of the subject line.
Via the IT Hub
Go to Business support teams (non-IT), select the User Experience section.
